“We had a decent first half of the race and the pace was okay, but then we got into a phase where we started to get quite a lot of degradation and we dropped back a little bit.
“In the safety car restart I had a very good restart, I tried to go for a move into Turn 1 and ended up getting hit and dropping a lot of positions.”
